Connect your own domain to your website instead of using the default lindo.site subdomain. Your site will be accessible at www.yourdomain.com.
Requires Pro plan or higher. You need access to your domain’s DNS settings.
1

Open website settings

Open your website in the editor, go to the Settings tab, and click the Domains section.
2

Enter your domain

In the Custom Domain field, enter your domain (e.g., www.yourdomain.com or yourdomain.com).
3

View DNS records

The system shows you the DNS records to add. You’ll see either CNAME records (for subdomains like www) or A records (for root domains), plus a TXT record for verification.Example CNAME record:
TypeNameValue
CNAMEwwwcname.lindo.ai
4

Add records to your registrar

Log in to your domain registrar (GoDaddy, Cloudflare, Namecheap, etc.), find the DNS settings, and add each record with the exact values shown.
5

Verify connection

Return to Lindo.ai and click Check Status. DNS changes take 5-30 minutes to propagate, though full global propagation can take up to 48 hours.
6

SSL is automatic

Once DNS connects, an SSL certificate is automatically issued. Your site will be accessible via HTTPS with no additional setup.

CNAME vs A Record

CNAME (Recommended) — Works with subdomains like www, blog, or shop. Easier to set up and more flexible. A Record — Works with root domains (yourdomain.com without www). Requires a specific IP address.

Troubleshooting

Not connecting?
  • Double-check record values for typos
  • Remove any trailing dots from values
  • If using Cloudflare, temporarily disable the proxy (orange cloud)
  • Delete conflicting A records that point elsewhere
Still pending after 48 hours?
  • Verify records are saved correctly in your registrar
  • Some registrars have propagation delays—contact their support
