What is DNS

DNS (Domain Name System) translates domain names to server addresses. You need to add records to your domain’s DNS settings.

Record Types

CNAME Record

Points a subdomain to another domain:
  • Used for: app, sites subdomains
  • Points to: cname.lindo.ai
  • Purpose: Routes traffic to Lindo.ai

TXT Record

Text record for verification:
  • Used for: Domain ownership verification
  • Contains: Verification code
  • Purpose: Proves you own the domain

Adding Records

General Steps

  1. Log into your domain registrar

Propagation Time

DNS changes take time to spread:
