Shipping rates are created in Stripe, not in the product editor. Lindo reads your active Stripe shipping rates and adds them to checkout when at least one product requires shipping.

Create shipping rates in Stripe

  1. Open your website in the editor
  2. Go to Settings -> Shop
  3. In the Shipping Rate guide, click Open Stripe
  4. Create one or more shipping rates in Stripe
Common examples:
  • Standard shipping
  • Express shipping
  • International shipping
  • Local delivery

Make a product use shipping

  1. Open the Pages tab
  2. Edit a product
  3. Enable Shipping Address in checkout options
  4. Save the product
Once at least one item in checkout requires shipping, Lindo sends your active Stripe shipping rates to Checkout.

How it works in cart checkout

  • If all items are digital or do not require shipping, no shipping rates are shown
  • If one or more items require shipping, Stripe shows your active shipping rates
  • The shipping rates come directly from your connected Stripe account

Best practices

  • Create clear rate names in Stripe
  • Test both desktop and mobile checkout flows
  • Keep domestic and international rates separate when needed
  • Disable unused rates in Stripe so customers only see valid options
